In 2009 Preon engineered, built and deployed 8 micro turbines in 3 skids to the remote natural gas fields of one of the largest oil & gas companies in the world. These units operate in harsh environment similar to the CBM units of Gillette Wyoming. Preon is in discussions with the oil & gas company about the potential deployment of many more units as the company has taken on a “greener” charter and is no longer replacing retired diesel gensets.
